Sabbath is a protected, 24-hour rhythm of restorative rest—free from production, obligation, and digital noise. It is not merely a day off, but an intentional reset for your whole person.
Traditionally and optimally, Sabbath lasts for 24 hours, often beginning at sundown and concluding at sundown the following day, creating a full cycle of protected rest.
Anything that brings you peace, clarity, and connection without feeling like an obligation. This includes quiet reflection, reading, walking in nature, enjoying a rich meal, or sleeping.
Start small. You do not have to master a 24-hour rest immediately. Begin with two protected hours of silence, offline time, or simple enjoyment. Build the muscle of rest slowly.
